The à la carte menu is the point here, not the omakase counter tucked off to the side. This sushi spot in the Channelside dining cluster runs livelier than the usual minimalist Japanese room, mixing nigiri and creative maki with izakaya small plates and ramen for the table. The fish skews seasonal and sourced with care. It's a sister to Koya, and carries the same conviction that a fun room and serious sushi aren't mutually exclusive.
