Nobu Budapest
Japanese
The Budapest outpost of Nobuyuki Matsuhisa's global Japanese restaurant empire occupies a sleek corner of the Kempinski, all wooden tables, fretwork screens, and paper lanterns. The menu runs the familiar Nobu circuit: sushi, cold and hot classics, a Wagyu section, and an omakase for anyone who'd rather delegate. Bento boxes appear at lunch. The crowd tends toward the hotel's international clientele, dressed as if they already knew they'd end up somewhere this polished.
