    A former business hotel in Marylebone, now wearing David Collins interiors and a pronounced Japanese accent, the Nobu London Portman Square is one of those hotels where even the bathroom fixtures, Toto washlets and deep soaking tubs, signal that someone thought hard about the details. Rooms by Make Architects lean into calm minimalism. Below it all, Nobu Matsuhisa's Peruvian-Japanese restaurant draws the kind of crowd that prefers to be seen.
