    A Georgian townhouse parlour turned cocktail bar, a short walk from Oxford Street's chaos. Persian rugs, leather chairs, a fireplace, and a grandmother clock keep the fantasy of a quieter century alive. Photographs climb all the way to the ceiling, which feels like either very good decorating or a small cry for help. The kind of place where nursing a drink while rain hits the windows outside feels like a perfectly valid plan.
