    A 1950s concrete apartment block, the first of its kind in Basel, now does hotel duty with its original facade intact and a purpose-built wing alongside. Inside, the raw concrete stays but gets company: color, warmth, and clean-lined furniture by local designer This Weber. The Eatery downstairs covers everything from a drink to a proper dinner. Sister to Krafft Basel, if that name rings any bells.
