    Donatella Versace had creative control over every inch of this hotel inside the Grand Lisboa Palace complex, and it shows: marble everywhere, mosaic floors, stylized columns, and fabrics dyed in colors that would embarrass a sunset. It holds a Forbes Five Star and two Michelin Keys. Rooms skew Italian palazzo, with enough gold and pattern to make restraint feel like a personal failing. The Cotai Strip casinos are a short walk away, if you tire of staring at the décor.
