Piklìz
Haitian
Named for the fiery Haitian pickled condiment that shows up on every table back home, this warm Caribbean restaurant in Saint-Henri covers the walls with island paintings and small-framed photographs that feel more like a family archive than décor. The brothers behind it grew up between Montreal and Haiti, and the menu moves between the two places accordingly: Québécois poutine gets a creole riff, and the slow-braised goat practically dissolves on the fork.
