    The building's old lecture-hall bones, high ceilings and tall windows facing Oosterpark, give this luxury boutique hotel a perpetual back-to-school feeling, even in July. Housed in a restored university building, it holds the Michelin Guide's 2 Keys. Rooms run to bespoke beds and heated floors; one suite adds a grand piano and a marble soaking tub. A roaring-twenties cocktail lounge named for Fitzgerald handles the evenings quite confidently.
