Kanom jeen sao nam, rice vermicelli in fresh coconut milk, is reason enough to find this Thai restaurant on Pradipat Road, where the air conditioning is a bonus and the Michelin Bib Gourmand is a given. The kitchen grew out of a Chatuchak Weekend Market stall, and the five-spice pork belly stew still tastes like it has something to prove. The neighborhood rewards the wander, full of low-key cafes that won't make the guidebooks.
