A baroque nobleman's mansion on Gundulic Square, converted into a 19-room boutique hotel inside Dubrovnik's old town walls. Each room is named for a local writer or artist, traditionally styled but with freestanding tubs and Bulgari in the bathrooms. There's a café spilling onto the square, a Mediterranean restaurant, and a leather-clad wine bar pouring Croatian bottles. The Michelin Guide has it among its selected hotels.
