    The dining room sits above Piazza San Marco, which means the view is almost unfair. This Michelin-starred restaurant runs on ingredients from the lagoon, fish from the shallow waters, vegetables grown on Sant'Erasmo island, and shellfish when the season says so. The wine list reaches as far as volcanic whites from the Azores. The crowd is dressed for the occasion, and the occasion is Venice doing its most theatrical.
