Ramen Gaijin
Noodles
House-made noodles are the reason Sebastopol has a ramen shop worth the detour. Ramen Gaijin is a lively izakaya pulling Sonoma County produce into a pretty traditional Japanese frame, and the Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand for the effort. The shoyu is clean and careful; the tantanmen runs rich and spicy with pork belly chashu. Counter seats face the kitchen, which is where you want to be.
