Perched on the Ping River with the ruins of the ancient Lanna capital just across the water, RatiLanna is a resort that somehow pulls off genuine quiet in the middle of a city. Rooms and suites feel properly removed from everything, the spa dedicates each treatment room to a different corner of Thai culture, and the on-site restaurant leans hard into northern Thai cooking. There's also a Brazilian churrascaria, which nobody saw coming.
