    Floors 34 through 52 of Renzo Piano's glass spike above London Bridge, the Shangri-La holds a Forbes Five Star and a Michelin Key, and the swimming pool on the 52nd floor is the highest in Europe, which is either thrilling or unsettling depending on your relationship with heights. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows, marble bathrooms with heated floors, and views stretching toward Kent. Borough Market is a short walk downhill, back in the world of mortals.
