A hundred-foot atrium anchors this design hotel in downtown Hamburg, with rooms organized around it like a very stylish beehive. Matteo Thun handled the interiors, Robert Wilson the lighting, and the result makes most "design hotels" look like they just picked a font. Predominantly white with dark wood, the rooms are minimal without feeling like an afterthought. The spa and pool sit four floors below ground, and the bar draws a crowd that never quite leaves on weekends.
