Nikos Thomas, known to Greek TV audiences from MasterChef, turns out to be more interesting in a kitchen than on camera. Simul is a creative modern restaurant on Ipsilantou where the menu shifts with the seasons and never quite repeats itself, offered either à la carte or as a tasting menu. The room is informal and the cooking leans young and technically sharp, the kind of place that seems to enjoy making you reconsider what you just ate.
