Across the street from Frank Gehry's famously wobbly Dancing House on the Vltava, this boutique hotel takes its cues from Gothic Prague and the Czech Cubist tradition rather than the cold minimalism that defined the design-hotel wave. The rooms lean warm and layered, the common areas are softly lit and a little sumptuous, and enough original architecture survived to give the whole place genuine visual texture. The hotel restaurant, Seven North, serves Mediterranean food in the central courtyard.
