Sogonggan
Contemporary Korean
The name means both "small space" and "a place for beef," which tells you most of what you need to know before you sit down. This contemporary Korean restaurant on the fourth floor in Haeundae is run by a chef who spent years cooking Western food before switching lanes, and the transition shows in the plating: refined and composed, without losing the soul of dishes like gomtang simmered for 48 hours. Kids get their own small bowl, so the room skews warmer than the elegant presentation might suggest.
