This two Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant in Sakyo-ku is quiet and deliberate, the kind of place that asks you to put your phone away, not as a policy but as an obvious courtesy. The chef forages herbs and grasses and turns them into something that makes you notice things you normally walk past.
