Sud, O Pássaro Verde
Brazilian
You knock on the door to get in, which sets the tone immediately. This is chef Roberta Sudbrack's home-style Brazilian restaurant in a Jardim Botânico house, built around a wood-fired oven and an open kitchen that turns out comforting, market-driven food from small local producers. The menu shifts daily with whatever's fresh, though the chocolate cake has apparently never left, and regulars seem fine with that arrangement.
