    A rooftop terrace looks out over Chengdu from this 24-room boutique on Wuhouci Street, where stone soaking tubs, rattan pendant lights, and reflective water gardens give the whole property a quietly Japanese sensibility. Black-tiled pavilion structures and lantern-lit walkways run through the grounds. Jinli Ancient Street and the Wuhou Memorial Temple are both a short walk, which is convenient given how hard the room will make it to leave.
