    Bare brick walls and mismatched chairs upholstered in Chelsea blue give this Fulham Road gastro pub away before you've ordered. It sits directly opposite Stamford Bridge, which is either a selling point or a warning, and the football club was reportedly founded here when the place went by a different name. A long communal table keeps things convivial, and the overall room lands somewhere between slick and genuinely warm, which is harder than it looks.
