The Cocochine
Modern French
A Matisse hangs in the toilets, which tells you roughly where you stand at this modern French fine dining room on a quietly confident Mayfair mews. The chef, ex-Petrus and Le Manoir, draws produce from a private Northamptonshire estate and seafood from a Scottish island, then folds in subtle Sri Lankan touches throughout. The wine cellar, worth around a million pounds, somehow has some of the lowest mark-ups on the street.
