The Connaught is old Mayfair luxury, renovated enough to stay relevant but not so much that anyone would mistake it for a boutique. Guy Oliver's muted, clean-lined interiors hold their seriousness well. The Connaught Bar and Hélène Darroze's three-Michelin-star restaurant keep guests from leaving. On the World's 50 Best Hotels list.
