    The curving lines and porthole details of this Wan Chai boutique hotel are a direct nod to the old Star Ferry terminals nearby, and the effect is surprisingly convincing. Streamline Moderne without the kitsch, the rooms run larger than the aesthetic might suggest, with custom bath products that commit to the bit. Downstairs, Osteria Marzia goes seafood-forward Italian, a sensible counterpoint when the streets outside already handle the Cantonese side of things.
