The Joule is a design hotel in a Gothic bank building from the 1920s, and the tension between those two facts is kind of the whole point. It's the kind of lobby you wander through even when you're not staying there, which Dallas apparently does, given the 2025 Best Hotel Lobby nod from the Dallas Observer.
