    Each of the 19 apartments here was handed to a different local artist or designer, and the brief apparently included an unusual obsession with typography. The result is an apartment hotel in a mid-century modernist building that feels less like serviced accommodation and more like staying inside a very considered group show. Kitchens are fully functional, there's a rooftop terrace, and the Bairro Alto funicular is practically at the door.
