A row of Georgian townhouses a short walk from the British Museum, folded together into a boutique hotel that feels more like a well-appointed private members' club than a place that lets strangers sleep in it. The rooms are each slightly different, which the original architecture enforces, and the eclectic mix of antique and contemporary pieces throughout gives the whole thing a curated rather than decorated feeling.
