    Canvas roofs and four-poster beds sit alongside rain showers, leather armchairs, and 24-hour butlers, which is a pretty good summary of what Twinpalms Tented Camp is doing at Bangtao Beach. The 24 lagoon-facing tents run along a lily-dotted waterway, most with plunge pools and private decks, while five open straight onto the sand. Rattan, dark wood, and soft linen keep things calm, letting the jungle and water carry the room. Selected by the Michelin Guide.
