    A hostel-hotel hybrid in Tainan's older quarters, U.I.J puts a Crosley turntable and a curated vinyl stack in the private rooms while the bunk beds come fitted with wide canvas berths. BBBooks, a 24-hour library lounge, and an open kitchen for guests who've been to the market next door round out the communal floor. The rooftop faces west. Old temples and narrow lanes are close enough to explore on foot and still make it back before the record ends.
