    Each of the 29 rooms at this retro-boutique hotel channels a different corner of mod-era sixties style, think curvy appliances and pastel furniture sourced from antique shops across Europe, not a lava lamp in sight. A former retirement home converted by its owners, it sits a few metro stops from the EU bubble, which is precisely the point. The wine bar runs sommelier lessons, and breakfast comes with local cheese and fresh-baked bread.
