    No children, no photos, and the hotel will not apologize for either rule. The Wittmore is a small boutique hotel tucked into a narrow Gothic Quarter alley, and it leans hard into the neighborhood's dim romanticism: red velvet loveseats, wood paneling, a fireplace, and French doors onto a courtyard. Rooms soften the mood with botanical wallpaper and vintage telephones. The rooftop terrace at sunset is a different world entirely. It holds a Michelin Key.
