A private island a short boat ride from Bandol, bought by the pastis magnate Paul Ricard and rebuilt over five years into a full-blown luxury resort. Three zones set the mood: one channeling mid-century Riviera modernism, one stripped-back and earthy, one dressed up as a village of fishermen's houses for people who very much are not fishermen. Four restaurants, four bars, and a large spa are scattered across grounds rewilded with native planting.
