The name is a nod to the California town that houses The French Laundry, which sets expectations high for a neighborhood bistro in Gangnam. This is a French bistro in the classic sense: checked tablecloths energy, a kitchen serious about the fundamentals, and cooking that wants you to slow down. The room is cosy enough that the city outside feels genuinely optional for an hour or two.
