The best places to drink in Burlington, according to the experts: The Infatuation, Yankee Magazine, and the James Beard Awards have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Specs comes out on top.
More Less
Black Flannel Brewing & Distilling and Burlington Beer Company hold the next two places. Yankee Magazine shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with the James Beard Awards next.

Coffee arrives at Specs spiked with Cynar, corrected with maple cream liqueur, or topped with Angostura whipped cream, all from 8am. It's a coffee shop and daytime cocktail bar in Winooski, the former mill town next door to Burlington, where the crafty set debates linocut workshops in the sunny windows while big dreamers at the bar puzzle over how to dome the town rotary. When talks stall, the attached bev mart stocks 24-ounce Busch Ice and cigarettes.
