The best beer bars in Canada, according to the experts: Canada's 100 Best, Difford's Guide, and the Golden Owl Awards have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Rain Dog Bar comes out on top, and the good stuff runs deepest in Vancouver.
More Less
The Alibi Room and Superflux hold the next two places. The Golden Owl Awards show up on more of this list than any other guide, with Canada's 100 Best next.

Rank 1. Rain Dog Bar
Beer Bar
A loft-style beer bar in Inglewood where the list is organized by style and vintage, the way a serious wine shop might do it. The team behind it includes Alberta's first Certified Cicerone, and the draft and bottle selection runs from rare Trappist ales to hard-to-find natural fermentations from brewers most people haven't heard of yet. Charcuterie and conservas fill the gaps. It ranked 36th on Canada's 100 Best Bars list for 2026.
