The Best Restaurants in Westmount, by the Record

The best restaurants in Westmount, by the professional record: Michelin Guide, Cult MTL, and Condé Nast Traveler have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Park comes out on top.

Bistro La Franquette and Park Restaurant hold the next two places. Cult MTL shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with Condé Nast Traveler next.

    South American Japanese

Antonio Park's Westmount restaurant runs on a premise that shouldn't work as well as it does: Japanese technique meeting South American flavors, with 80s pop playing underneath it all. The menu moves between sushi and chimichurri-dressed fish with a kind of easy confidence, and evenings bring an omakase format for anyone who wants the full Tokyo-meets-Buenos-Aires journey. The room draws Westmount regulars who clearly know the menu by heart but order the tuna anyway.

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
