Ten seats, one table, one menu nobody sees in advance: Âmago runs on its own terms. This intimate tasting-room near Lisbon's Botanical Garden serves a surprise seasonal menu to everyone in the room at once, which makes the whole thing feel less like a restaurant and more like a very good dinner party where the hosts happen to be technically gifted chefs. Book well ahead, obviously, and arrive without expectations about what's on the menu, because that's rather the point.
