    The Palm Jumeirah is already a flex, and Andaz leans into it: this is a resort hotel sitting near the top of the frond-shaped island, where the rooms curve like something from a retrofuturist dream and the views swing between city skyline and open sea. The design is playful and a little space-age, the scale is unmistakably Dubai, and there's a Mexican restaurant with a front-row seat to all of it.
