AngloThai
British Thai
The tables are made from Chamchuri wood by craftsmen in Chiang Mai, which tells you the attention to detail runs deeper than the plate. AngloThai is a tasting-menu restaurant in Marylebone where the kitchen sources everything, including the farm produce, from the UK, then applies the complex salty-sweet-sour-spicy logic of Thai cooking to it. It holds a Michelin star, and the cooking is as precise as the premise sounds.
