    Three historic buildings stitched together in Wilmington's waterfront district make up this Palisociety hotel, where rough post-industrial edges meet genuine Southern charm. Whimsical wallpaper, antiques, mid-century pieces, and contemporary furnishings share space without apology, the way a good thrift store wishes it could. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key, and it earns the designation by feeling local in a way that most boutique hotels only gesture at.
