    A kaiseki-style Japanese restaurant in the old Asakusa neighborhood, where the chef trained in Kyoto and brought that restrained seasonal sensibility east. The dashi is kept deliberately light so the main ingredients can speak, and a local sweet rice puff called kaminari-okoshi turns up as batter for fried dishes, a small nod to the street outside. Appetizer platters come served in hollowed yuzu, which is a lot of effort for something most diners will eat in two bites.
