A boutique hotel on Dionysiou Areopagitou that skips the obligatory Parthenon-print-and-marble-column approach entirely, landing instead in a 1960s Athens that was modern and stylish and confident. Clean lines, wood-paneled rooms, pops of retro orange and blue, and private verandas throughout. The rooftop bar offers a view of ancient ruins and the sea at sunset, which is difficult to argue with.
