Bayt Sharq
Qatari Middle Eastern
The setting is a restored old Qatari house with its own small museum tucked inside, sitting just off the Corniche. It's a sit-down restaurant serving classic Qatari dishes, and you can eat in the main room, on the veranda, in the gardens, or in a standalone cabin if you want to feel like you've escaped everything. The food runs toward generous portions of mutabbel, majboos, and saffron mahalabia, the kind of cooking that makes portion control someone else's problem.
