Andrea Carlson's tasting menu at this Mount Pleasant corner spot shifts thematically with the season, so the October menu is genuinely a different argument than the June one. The bread course alone sets the tone: nori cornbread, herb gougères, sourdough, aged sake kasu butter. Farm-to-table without the earnest lecture. Carlson holds a Michelin star, and the non-alcoholic pairings are, unusually, not an afterthought.
