Cibû
Regional Portuguese
Tucked into a small alley beside a coastal fort, Cibû takes its name from a Trás-os-Montes expression, which sets the tone: deeply Portuguese at heart, with a Nordic edge in the stone walls and heavy wood. The chef came home after stints in Norway and Switzerland, and the menu shows it, pairing traditional regional cooking with cleaner northern instincts. Dishes are designed for sharing, and the desserts have a reputation of their own.
