    The cobblestone block it sits on feels more like a Soho mews than Soho, which is rather the point. This boutique hotel from the London-rooted Firmdale group layers bold English country house fabric and color against warehouse-style windows, so every room reads like a very confident decorator's private flat. A sculpture garden, a drawing room with an honor bar, and a Sunday Film Club keep the mood firmly residential. It holds a Michelin 3 Keys and a Forbes Four Star.
