Das Tschecherl is a compact Austrian restaurant with a short menu that leans on the Salzkammergut: pike-perch, caraway potatoes, Szeged cabbage. The open kitchen keeps things honest. It closes at eight, which means dinner here is technically an early one, but nobody seems to mind.
