  1. Decan

    Modern French

The dining room at Decan runs in black and white, a nod to chef Jan Decan's second life as a pianist, and the cooking follows a similar logic: classical French structure with modern touches slipped in. This is a polished, sit-down restaurant where the front-of-house knows the wine list cold and will actually steer you somewhere interesting rather than just upselling. A place where the room and the plate feel like they were designed by the same person.

    One honor, in evidence:

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
