    A 17th-century palace a short walk from the Plaza de la Constitución, this boutique hotel from the Habita group keeps the original high ceilings and weathered period details while layering in dark tiled floors, raw wood furnishings, and bathroom screens that read almost Moorish. The result is quietly contemporary without being cold. The rooftop lounge tends to pull a stylish crowd, which in a Habita property is basically a law of physics.
